Before starting Surgical Video Specialists, we directed and produced videos of live surgeries for a leading global robotic surgery manufacturer.
Since then, we have been the experts in recording, producing and editing clinical media.
We possess the appropriate certifications, training and insurance coverage to register with your hospital and be granted access to your operating room.
To ensure your recording is a success, we plan beforehand with the appropriate hospital departments to mitigate surprises and be compliant with your hospital policy.
On the day of your surgery, we record all internal and external aspects of the procedure while maintaining a safe distance from sterile fields and the path of staff.
Our daily rate, plus travel expenses, can be optimized by coordinating multiple recordings within a single day by partnering with a colleague, practice, or department.

Since 2015, Surgical Video Specialists has produced clinical education, training and marketing videos for surgeons, surgical societies and medical device and pharmaceutical companies.
We autonomously edit the raw footage of surgical procedures from their entirety into short, easily understood and complete highlight reels.
Our completion timelines range from 2-4 weeks and our costs are sized to fit all needs and budgets.
"I have had the opportunity to work with Spencer Sprinkle at Surgical Video Specialists to create several surgical videos.
As a busy surgeon, creating professional looking educational surgical videos can be time-consuming and incredibly frustrating. Instead, Spencer makes everything so easy!
I have been able to capture surgical videos both endoscopically and while wearing a Go Pro. After that, the process is seamless. The video is uploaded to his site where he does a preliminary edit. It is then sent back for me to add a brief introduction and conclusion, anatomic call outs and to finally record narration.
The entire process takes under an hour and produces a beautifully edited video.
I can’t recommend him enough!"

Dr. Roberto Cueva's raw video was initially 3.5 hours and after we edited it to ~3.5 minutes, we then added his slides and narration.

My name is Spencer Sprinkle, and I created Surgical Video Specialists to make clinical media production faster and easier.
Prior to Surgical Video Specialists, I worked for Intuitive Surgical Incorporated in sales, clinical engineering and marketing roles. During that time, I directed live recordings in host surgeons' operating room and created cards, guides, and videos for the various da Vinci surgical systems.
While at Intuitive Surgical, I received so many requests from surgeons for help with personal video editing projects that I decided to provide this service myself in 2015.
Since then, I've ensured that Surgical Video Specialists offers all of the necessary services to produce any clinical media project. The process I've developed streamlines production and reduces effort and time required by project managers and surgeons.
My clients include Intuitive Surgical, Genentech, Medrobotics, Stryker, the American Academy of Otolaryngology and others.
